No more Toll Booths. Driving cross country today. Oh Yes... change in plans. We are no longer heading to New York and then PEI. Washington, DC here we come. Eastern seaboard for 2 weeks. Next stop. Altoona, Pennsylvania. But first. Up and over the eastern continental divide. The Alleghenies. Maximum elevation 700 metres. Calgary is at 1000 metres. Small potatoes driving those "Mountains". First Detour sign. Missed it. Make a "U-turn" in front a Sheriff. Phew. He doesn't give chase. Run down some Amish people in a buggy on the side of the road. Forgot the trailer was that wide. OK. I did slow down and Alexis checked them out. GPS wrong again. Or, this time the address of the campground is confusing. Address given is on the opposite side of Altoona. Stop & ask for directions. See guys do ask. Find campground & set up. Walk to Wal-Mart. Can't cross highway. All signs say "No Pedestrian Crossing" at all the stop lights. Check for cops and cross. Survive ordeal.
