I grab a seat in the ferry for the 55 minute ride to Bintan Island. Seated in the seat in front of me is a young lady who looks familiar. She looks very much like Pranee. We arrive in Bintan. Get a Visa on arrival. Get my backpack. As I'm leaving the ferry terminal someone asks which resort I'm staying at. I get directed to a kiosk. The person there asks my name and checks a list. He can't find my name. Then I notice. They have me as Paul Pisette and they are expecting 3 people. I get on the bus to the resort with a few other people.

All the guests are welcomed upon arrival. Saban confirms information and provides some resort information. All expenses get billed to the room. No reason to carry cash here. He states that the room isn't quite ready. Then I meet the lovely Arie. She asks what I do. I mention my travels through Asia. She goes, "Can I come?" We continue chatting as she walks me to my room.

I go for a walk around the resort and then go have an early supper in the main restaurant. There I meet the waitress who will "take care of me" all week. Delima is so sweet. As I'm eating I notice the woman from the ferry who looks like Pranee. Though I have a picture of her burned in my mind, the Universe has provided a reminder for my time away. Isn't life grand?

I go for a late night walk along the beach. There's a full moon out. On the beach they have this raised deck that I sit on and gaze out onto the South China Sea and ponder my life. I am in Heaven. There's no other way to describe where I'm at in my life. I may be alone in this romantic Paradise but I have found my Dream Girl.

Prior to going for my walk I was in my room listening to some music. There's a knock on the door. It's the maid. She's here to turn down the sheets, fluff the pillows, get the towels ready for a shower, and as she leaves asks if there's anything else I may need.

Earlier, having my supper, I noticed the prices on the menu. This isn't going to be a cheap week. The room was paid for by exchanging it using a time share we own in Canada but this place is isolated and all the meals have to be eaten here. The little remaining funds that I have will be used up quickly.

As with my Dream Girl, staying in a 5-star resort has it's purpose. Pranee is a female version of me. She may have come from a poor farm family but she definitely enjoys the finer things in life. She travels first class and stays in the best hotels. That is the life she leads. That is the life that I do sometimes lead. I live at both extremes though I prefer the 5 star life. This is who WE are.

Staying in a 5-star resort is a sample of things to come. I have found my Dream Girl, just like I predicted. I also predicted abundance in my life. All the money in the world that I need to do what I need to do. Doing it in style is the way it will happen.

I wasn't expecting meeting my Dream Girl until I arrived here at the resort. This is where I thought I would meet her, definitely not in some hedonistic beach resort. But you always have to be ready for the unexpected.

Yes, my limited funds are running out. I do not expect Pranee to be my monetary saviour. My funds will come from some other source. Then I will have my Dream Houses. Yes, there will be many houses around the world as Pranee and I travel through every country.

Money doesn't buy happiness. Pranee and I have already discussed that. We enjoy the finer things in life but are both OK with sleeping under the stars and with very few comforts.

Think It! Feel It! Live It! Love It!

PS. I posted a comment on Facebook about being alone here. Pranee sent me an email saying "You are not alone I'm here with you!" Now isn't that the sweetest thing that someone could write? Yes, she always is with me. I love you!
