Three years ago today I was in Texas and I wrote my blog entry about being alone on Valentine's Day. I was at peace about being alone on this day of romance. I didn't have to be physically with the people I love to know that they love me. Since then I've been traveling alone and truly enjoying doing that. My feelings about that have all been documented in my blogs.
Last night I went out for supper. I arrive at the Andaman Hill Hotel. No Pranee. I'm eating supper when she arrives. We chat a bit. I tell her I'm leaving in the morning. She indicates that her and a friend were planning on heading out tonight and that she was going to ask me to join them. She didn't know that I was leaving. I tell her it had been planned but nothing had been confirmed when we had last chatted
I tell her I'm meeting people for drinks that I had met the night before. She's busy working and I don't chat with her much. There's an Australian couple sitting next to me. We chat a while then they leave. Pranee has a friend in the restaurant and they invite me to join them. We chat a while, though they are speaking Thai most of the time.
There's no one else in the restaurant. Her friend and daughter leave. Pranee directs a new employee what needs to be done to close the restaurant for the night. Then we leave and go back to her place. She makes me a rum and orange cocktail using this 150 proof rum that is only available in Austria (or maybe somewhere else). I think she's trying to get me drunk. She then mentions this other rum drink that she has. It's 80 proof rum and she soaks some plums in them. The plums have been soaking for 2 years. Now that was one potent drink and extremely strong fruit. I leave the first drink. I wouldn't be walking if I drank that.
It's now after midnight, Valentine's Day. I never did meet up with Chris and Jenny. Oh well! I have to get up in 5 hours. Time to leave. NOT!
There's something about Pranee. She's telling me all about herself and her life. The more she tells me the more I realized that she's my Dream Girl. She wants to visit every country in the World. She rides large motorcycles. Has even ridden one like mine once in Germany. We realize that we understand each other at a very deep level. I tell her that I've booked a tour to Bhutan and she indicates that that's her dream destination. There are too many "coincidences" in what she's telling me. The more she talks the more I remember from my requests to the Universe, to God, that that is what I wanted in a woman.
Yes, I have found my Dream Girl just like I stated I would a while back. All my talk about Dream Girl has served its purpose. There is that one person out there that fits the complex criteria that I've set out. I once wrote that she had to be famous so that maybe it would convince everyone that what I write about actually does work. She may not be famous because that wasn't one of my criteria. This was meant to satisfy others. I had stated that she didn't have to be.
I stayed and missed my flight. The cost of the flight, the pre-paid taxi and hotel reservation are nothing. Some things you do because it feels right. You have to be ready to expect the unexpected. Plans are meant to be changed.
Today is Valentine's Day. Writing this in the future I can say that I spent the whole 24 hours with my Dream Girl and it was a most amazing day. We were having breakfast in her restaurant when Katy, the Finnish Flight attendant came and joined us for breakfast. Her friend, Jenny, has been sick. Katy looks at us and smiles. She senses that there's something different. She says she sees a sparkle in our eyes. I hadn't realized that it would be that obvious.
Pranee suggests that we go touring the island. She invites Katy. Pranee has organized a special Valentine's BBQ for her staff. She eats with them then decides we should leave. The staff isn't comfortable having her around and can't enjoy themselves. Katy decides to go for a swim and doesn't join us.
We drive around the southern portion of Phuket Island stopping every so often to see the sights and also to see some of Pranee's friends who own restaurants and bars. If she's in the neighborhood she wants to stop in and say Hi.
We return to her place and get ready for an evening out. We meet her friend at the hotel and then head to the Gay Bar district. Pranee owns a building there with a bar and she used to live above the bar. She's currently renting out the bar and her old accommodations but still has her parking pass. Most of her male friends are gay and she has made plans to see some of them tonight. We have a couple drinks there and then go to Banga Road and an Irish Pub to listen to some music. Then to another bar with her friend. We leave that friend there and head back to her car.
Along the Gay Bar strip she meets a lot of old friends. I meet some of her friends from Ottawa and others from England. Valentine's Day over we head back to her place.
I had planned on spending Valentine's Day alone in Kuala Lumpur. Instead I spent it with a very lovely lady, my Dream Girl.
The Genie says, "Ask and you shall receive". I was extremely specific in what I was asking for. I have received what I asked for. I know that in the bottom of my heart.
Happy Valentine's Day to All! May you all realize your Dreams of love.
Think It! Feel It! Live It! Love It!
PS. Dream Girl, or not, my purpose in life is far from completed. Pranee creates her life with her thoughts as much as I do. Since we share the same thoughts the power of creation is exponentially stronger. Watch out world. We are about to save you.
PPS. One lesson that I must give is the power of teamwork, or what I would call, using our Angels. I helped Andre find what he was looking for and he helped me find what I was looking for. It's in helping each other that we accomplish what we are meant to do.
PPS. And what could be more romantic than finding your Dream Girl on the most romantic day of the year?
Much LOVE to all!
