Brrr! The cabin was cold this morning. I wonder what was the better deal. The Kabin or the hole in the wall hotel room?

Head to the washroom to wash up. Am joined by the two young women from Switzerland. They jump into the shower. Hmmm. Now that would make an interesting story to tell. Taking a shower with 2 young women from Switzerland. But then, I'm not in Vegas, and also, details will not be forthcoming.

I hit the road and start thinking about thoughts, my thoughts in particular, and how they get realized. Two days ago there were the two young female hitchhikers that I should have picked up. Yes, my imagination went wild (I'll say it got creative) during that drive. That night I run into a woman in a bath towel while checking into a motel who needs a second bath towel. Then this morning I'm in the washroom with 2 young females, without, bath towels.

Is there a link? Or is it my imagination creating a link when there is none? Was it my thoughts creating my reality? To be honest, I wouldn't be a middle aged (single) guy if I didn't think about the "unlikely" but not unheard of, possibility of a fantasy "romp a trois" with two young hitchhikers. Stranger stories are told everyday in the newspapers and on the news. But for me, the reality is in creating the fantasy that I really don't want to happen. Thinking about something happening is one thing, but actually wanting for it to happen is another.

I've written about, here and in my other travel blogs, and in my book, what my Dreams are. Those dreams are more of a fantasy to some people as the "romp a trois" of some middle age guy traveling cross country. Both do happen to some people. Why some and not others?

Now back to my drive. Cross into California. The Interstate goes up and up and up...and up some more to the Siskiyou summit. That first "hill" took a lot out of the truck.

Stop in Mt. Shasta for some gas. Mention to the clerk about the crappy weather. It's been raining cats and dogs all morning. She says, better rain, because it could be snow instead.

Continue driving at a high elevation for most of the day in the rain. Then descend to a lower elevation near Redding and the rains stop. The winds have been quite high most of the day also. Had some wind warning road alerts for large trucks and trailer towing. A few times I was worried due to the gusts. The trailer is fairly stable but if it flips I lose everything I own.

The sun comes out for a while but then the rain starts up again as I arrive in Fairfield, just outside San Francisco. I pull into the hotel parking lot and am worried about being able to get out with my long trailer. NO problem. There's a large area at the back of the hotel to turn around and lots of room to park for the few days I'm here.

I love my life. I always get what I need. And things always happen to make my life easier. Not easiest, but easier. The weather forecast for the next few days is crappier. Lots and lots of rain and high winds in the future.

Think It! Feel It! Live It!
