Today we had the shortest driving day of the trip but had the worst driving conditions. Ottawa to Montreal in about 3 hours in pouring rain. Then navigating through Montreal's horrible freeway system with the trailer.

We had a lunch date at my friend Monique's place. As things always work out for me, her house was but a 10 minute drive to the KOA we were staying at just south of town. Alexis and I socialized for a while after lunch and then we drove to the campground to set up. I had a massive headache and lay down for a while. The blog entries I was hoping to catch up on never materialized. This rush to the east coast hasn't allowed me much time to stop and write much to date.

The stopover in Montreal is to get my other daughter, Rhéline, set up in her apartment as she starts at McGill in September. She flies in tomorrow at 7 AM. After lying down for a while, Alexis helped me move the dozen or so boxes that we've been hauling cross country in the trailer to the truck as it's not something I want to do tomorrow morning at 7 AM.

Alexis has decided to sleep in and hang out at the campground tomorrow while I run around with Rhéline picking stuff up that she needs.

An early night as the headache is persisting.
