When I was checking out at the hostel Lara gave me a hug. She's such a sweetie.

I live such an awesome life where I get hugs from beautiful young women when they barely know me.

I had a decision to make. The weather was awesome in Edinburgh and the forecast was for rain at my destination. It was also a brief, 2 hour drive (even if I stretched it out with numerous stops) and I couldn't arrive before 4. What to do? I left.

My next B&B was a farmhouse. That meant I couldn't enter an "actual" address into my GPS. I had to go by directions on the B&B website. I also had to figure out what to do for about 4 hours.  I decided to go visit the town where I would take the ferry to Ireland. By entering that town in my GPS I drove past the B&B. Great! Now I know where I'm staying. Before driving past the B&B I rode down this amazing road. The elevation change was considerable and it was wide open so you could see for miles around. It was an amazing sight. As I'm arriving at the town of Troon I decide to wander away down some side roads. That worked out great as I found this "abandoned" church and cemetery. It was a great place for a rest and some photos.

Then I stopped in at Troon and walked around town and the seashore. Just as I returned to the motorcycle it started raining. Perfect timing!  Then it was off to the B&B. It was nice and peaceful and I went for a walk there. Took a bunch more photos there.

I don't have much else to say as it's primarily for the photos that I'm posting this entry. Oh, and to report that I received a hug from Lara. Hugs are always important!
