House on stilts

When we got up at Brett's house on stilts the next morning, Brett was outside hacking coconuts off the trees in his yard for breakfast. He'd gathered a selection of local fruits for our breakfast, so we feasted on mango, pineapple and paw paw, while making a mess on the floor trying to drink straight from the coconut shell.
We made a plan of attack. I was only here for a few days, while Ian was staying an extra week. They planned to go to Savai'i, the other more remote island, in the second week, so we focused on Upolu, the main island with the capital which is about 3 hours wide. (I'm geographically inept so to me distances are measured in time, none of this metric business).
