There is nothing bigger in spirit than Boston, than my wonderful mate Bryan. His heart and humour enveloped us all and although time was short, it felt as though we had never been apart. We've known each other 17 years and I wish we were less than all the airmiles inbetween, but as always, my friends are dotted around the globe and I am blessed to have such fabulous mates that keep in touch and bounce in and out of each others lives.
Quinn summed it all up with his journal entry of Bryan...
"All about Bryan:
Bryan's car was a transformer called Hummer. Bryan is really funny! He makes me laugh a lot". We all agree!
Thankyou Bry for being so gorgeous to my kids - Lace LOVES you (well she is Aussie and blonde! :-) and Quinn is smitten! He keeps referring to you as 'Uncle Bryan'. You are part of our family always. Jump on over on your way to Asia - ANYTIME!
And the sights of Boston? Well, bloody cold, but really beautiful. Quinn's entry on Boston sort of sums it up...
"Things we did in Boston:
1. We went to the New England Aquarium. (The biggest in the world) well, let's say the biggest he has ever seen! We saw lots of cool fish.
2. We went to the Boston Children's Museum. We were aloud to touch anything! My favourite room was the golfball room. Until you cut your finger sneaking back when you were told not to Quinn!! Hee hee...
Also got a chance to catch up with Mark - very special! Can't wait to see you "backpacking" our way soon. XOOX
