Oh what a difference a month makes. I've made a complete U-turn in lifestyle within six weeks of returning home, but I'm still seeing through the eyes of a traveler. Chicago has not released its claws, and I'm still tending to my sick toe. I hope to depart for New Orleans any day now but have given up on predicting a departure date. Aaron made it within 30 miles of New Orleans a week ago only to have to turn back to deal with a family crisis back home. NOLA remains on his agenda, but the delay is indefinite.

I was going to wait to get a cell phone until I got to Louisiana, but I couldn't put it off any longer. My new mobile phone number is: my old number. By dumb luck the number I canceled and released in April was still available. If you lost it or never had it, email me. 1(708)912-XXXX
