I just couldn't seem to leave this place. I really liked the vibe of the town, Catedral was excellent with the right weather, and my hostel was amazing and brought me dozens of new friends. But after nearly four weeks at 1004, it's time to move on. As is customary, I nearly missed my bus out of town. With awful weather again, the wait for a taxi was 90 minutes, so I tried to catch one on the street for a half hour. I probably never would have, but a girl I just met in the hostel named Shepard joined me and within a couple minutes we had a ride. I don't panic anymore about travel logistics. If I miss a bus, I just exchange the ticket for another to someplace else. But I was still hurrying to catch it at the last minute. When I arrived and there was no Andesmar bus around, I assumed it had left 3 minutes early. But this is Argentina, and two and half hours later the bus pulled up without a care. Onward to Malargüe.
