Granada is an old colonial town just SE of the capital. The first day we arrived we just walked around the old town enjoying the churches and old architecture. After that we headed out to the coast of Lake Nicaragua to find a place to camp for the night. Lake Nicaragua is soooo large that it looks like the ocean. They even have a small population of bull sharks in the lake, very rare as they are usually a salt water animal. It is dotted with small island with an amazing shoreside. We ended up finding a perfect spot, under some trees with a great view of the lake, next to a restuarant. We spent that evening and the next day just relaxing and enjoying the view. We had a few beers, did some cleaning and housekeeping, and played chess. It was a very nice and relaxing trip.
