We arrived in Hollywood, home to Christina for a few years. Christina took me around all the famous places right away upon arriving. We passed Bel Air, Beverly Hills, and some of the most amazing properties on the planet. LA is unbelievable, especially when you are traveling with someone in the know. We arrived at Brook's and Sara's wonderful house, in downtown Hollywood, right in thick of things... far from good old Vic. Sara and a few of her friends took us out to a bar called the Dragonfly, where there was a live cover band, Spazmatics, who started off dressed in 60's costums playing all the best of that era then moved on to the 80's. They were so amazing and so talented.

On Monday we drove back to the Ojai area and did a great hike up to the "punch bowls". Sara's friends had organized this hike which was 6 miles in and 6 miles out. It turned out being a 15 mile hike after we walked another 30 minutes pass our destination. We realized we were lost after the path was no longer a path but boulders and thick over-growth. After backtracking to the waterfalls we had passed we found some great cliff diving and sights to die for. We came home and crashed after a full meal of sushi that Sara bought... thanks Sara!

Finally, Tuesday comes and I get to meet Brook (Christian's good LA friend), which had been gone for the weekend. All I knew about Brook was his amazing talents (painting, music, sketching), which has somewhat inspired me to get back into my drawing. I have not been in touch with drawing for years, but I want to get back into it this trip.

Hollywood has been great! So we have decided to stay for a few more days and head up to Vegas with Brook. We will probably go to the Hot Springs and then hit the Vegas Strip....

Well, we are still with you. Appears you are having a blast!! Enjoy to the max. First comment Mom had was did you check to see if the water was DEEP enough before you jumped in. What can I say. Love Dad
