What I did
Museo de Prada
The day of The Museum de Prada was a long day. For some unknown reason
even though I was exhausted, I was unable to sleep the night before.
Maybe it was some remaining jet lag. No matter how sleepy I might have
been, I was still very excited. This is my first museum in Spain.
My roommate and I woke up pretty early. I was scared that we would
get lost in Madrid and miss the group entry into the museum. It was an
unwarranted fear. The metro is so easy to understand here and the museum
was easy enough to find with the use of the map.
We had a very nice tour guide named, Aster. We were issued these
interested headsets in the museum so that we could here her. Which with
the other tourists and tour guides might have been impossible without
them. We went through a lot of history behind the paintings. We focused
mostly on Velasquez, Greco, and Goya. This is to be expected since these
are very famous Spanish painters.
I liked Velasquez's use of light. It was also interesting to see the
Dark paintings and wonder if Goya had gone mad or was just very
discontented with what was happening in his country. The tour flew by.
My roommate and I decided to eat in the museum's cafe. I had stuffed
tomatoes which were good but wouldn't have again. After that we had a
little free time in the museum. It wasn't enough. I feel like it would
be several days in the Museum de Prada before I really thoroughly saw

Rafeal fue cerrado. Habia muchos cuadernos de Rubens. Me gusta volver
