Today was a really good day!  Lena and I went to the National Library in the morning before class.  I especially loved it because of the Leonardo DaVinci exhibition the library currently has.  They had so many of his original works on display which was amazing.  I would suggest the Library to anyone who i looking for something free and interesting to do.  They also had an exhibition of the poet Gongora.  I hadn't ever heard of him but it was cool to learn about his career and how he was so influential in the world of literature for Spain.

Meeting up with the group to talk about the week and discuss the details for tomorrows day trip was nice as well.  I enjoyed class today because we practiced having conversations and writing our own stories to tell the class.  When a person started telling their story, the class had to react with the correct type of response which was fun.  After class, a few of us went to go see Carmen.  It was definitely a great cultural experience.  The costumes and the dancing was absolutely amazing.  Even though I couldn't exactly understand every word they were singing, it was a lot of fun to watch.
