Sorry for the missing pictures from the last post.  My internet connection went dead before I could upload everything.  Just finished uploading last entry's pics. I'm currently taking advantage of McDonald's free wi-fi connection so I'm using as much bandwidth as I can :p
The Tongariro Alpine crossing I hiked a week earlier was awesome but the Franz Josef glacier hike was out of this world!  We took a bus out to the start of the hike but we still had to walk about 45 minutes to get to the start of the glacier.  I was already tired before we even hit any ice.  6 hours later it was all worth it!  Words cannot describe how beautiful it was so I'll let my pictures do the talking.  To top off the spectacular day, we had a HAWT Gabriel Aubry lookalike guide.  He definitely motivated me to keep going ;P.  We left Franz Josef and made a few stops to see the stunning Lake Matheson, Thunder Creek Falls and Blue Pools.  Vancouver is beautiful but New Zealand just blows it out of the water.  This country is pure photography paradise.  I'm in Queenstown for a couple of nights and then off to Milford Sounds, the #1 rated spot in the country.  On a side note, I've officially met the dreaded sandflies.  They leave blood stains after they bite and they itch like CRAZY.  I somehow managed to get a bite on my left bum cheek.  How is that even possible?!?! (Are my shorts too short?)

Awesome diversity in environment - never expected that from New Zealand. Also, talk to the hand!

"Are my shorts too short?"

Oh Claud, you crack me up, we all know who wears the shortest-shorts in the land.
