For Cancun, I didnt really like it much...  Way too touristy and expensive!  It doesn't even feel like its Mexico there, so I wont really write too much about it.  One of the days we went to an island about 45 minutes boat ride away, which was very pretty, but once more flanked with tourists.  We stayed out of town near the 'poorer' section (if you want to call it like that), which was a tad more Mexico, but its still Cancun.

The best thing about Cancun was the friends group we formed.  Ricci the 30odd year old Mexican with the most contageous laugh you can imagine!  He really is a funny bloke and gave me so many laugh's!!  George the German (not actually his name, but we've given up trying to pronounce it, so we call him that!).  He's 26 and such a top bloke, we got along really well...  And Sara, the Swiss, which is such a champ!  We've been travelling with her the last couple of days and the 3 of us have been laughing the entire time I think.  All 5 of us formed the closest friends group and partied really hard to bring in the new year!!!  As the sun came up, we all found ourself on the beach dancing!  We had only just finished drinking about 6am, when George the funny bugger jumped over a few fences to bring all of us beers, and we found ourselves drinking once more at 7am! haha!!  We all slept most of January 1st! :-P

It was so so so hard saying goodbye to these guys the following day, when Matty and I had to head off to Cuba!  It really feel's like we'd known these guys forever!  George, Sara, Matty and I have made a pact that within the next couple of years we'll all have to meet up again and put on another performance like New Years :-)

For now, Adio's Mexico!!!
