Here I am... Arrived in Mexico City after a 52 hour buss ride! ohhhhh it was good brushing my teeth, showering and getting something to eat (well, i havn't eaten today yet, but I have a feeling the Mexican workers here are making us a feast... mmmm)
The hostel has an amazing view, we're in Downtown Mexico City (downtown is the nice part of town in Latin America's, unlike North America). We can get shots of tequila for 15 Pesos (approx 1.50 dollars), and very cheap beers! - hey its Mexico :-)
We're right in the heart of all the Piaza's central Downtown, which consist of an absolute huge church, Aztec ruin's and some other massive building, which I dunno whether to take a photo of yet or not as they're milita all over it... The city is very VERY polluted, but has a funk to it... I guess these both come with being the biggest city in the world.
Mexico City also is at an altitude of 2.5 kilometres. I dont think i'll notice the altitude though unless i do any exercise.
Being here doesn't do it much for me, as im not the biggest fan of cities, so im looking forward to travelling further south to smaller towns and villages!
P.S. Jas - You'd absolutely love the food here... Absolutely everything you eat, no matter what it is, is spiced with lots of Chilli... Even the dorito's we managed to get on the bus are bloody spicey, haha! :-P
