The next morning on the 20th after a snooze we got up and there was this dead bug of somekind absolutely flat on my stomach which i must of squished in my sleep the night before! haha. We got up and went for a walk to get tickets for the English tour of the castle in the town. We climbed the tower first and then had lunch for 30CZK (very cheap but huge burger). Then back for our 2pm tour of the castle which was pretty interesting, but the woman had such a strong accent that i could barely understand a word of hers anyhow, ah well. We went to the bridge linking the 2 sections of the castle and from here i looked at the rest of the town thinking i have seen a couple of pictures of this town from this exact spot on other travelpod diaries that i have read back home, and now here i am standing and experiencing it! Really is a wierd but good feeling.

Well before touring around the castle we raced and booked a raft for us at 4:30pm. So we headed back there and they drove us 15 minutes up the road and dropped us off at the point where we were to enter the river to raft back to C.K. We were up and away, and couldnt help but constantly look up and gaze at the mountains covered in forest as it provided a descent site. Everynow and then we'd go down a fast dip and get soaked when we'd hit the water, but was a laugh. However one bit there was a section with 4 or 5 parts to go between as it was like a train bridge going over top. We could tell it was another drop bit, but one bit of the bridge had "RAFT" with a down arrow letting us know which one to head down. But there were all these people stopped on the bank of the river, we thought we may as well just keep on goin down the raft bit, but thought we better pull over just incase. I got out and scouted it... THANK BLOODY HELL we did pull over as the drop was like 3 metres straight down at right angles onto flat concrete! Could of done some seriouse damage to ourselves or even worst if we had gone through with it! What the hell is the deal with that? I wonder how many people get injured from continueing down where it says? So we portaged our raft around and plomped it in the water again and got in. Now that we're passed it i'm having a laugh, but yeah pretty dodgy! Maybe its fine for winter when the water level is alot higher, but.... we're not in winter! We went down a few more rapids and got wet but laughed our heads off when every canoe tipped trying to get down!

We finally finished and got out to have a drink by the side of the river in this cool little restuarant that you can only get to by walking through this cave entrance. We walked around the town exploring more and ended up having a huge schnitzel and chips that night for so so cheap! This night we partied with everyone else again outside in the great weather. Met this other Aussie guy with huge dreds and he sounded so much like Eric Banner in chopper that i couldnt help laugh to myself all the time. I had gained the name "Adelaide" from the night before, as its easier to remember people from where they came from instead of their name... Aparently :oP I was chatting away with this Portugese bloke for a while that was a fair tripper, but quite amusing. He was in love with his huge rock of Maroccan hash, which is apparently the best you can get so ofcourse we had to try it out :o) About 15 of us all were up till 3am in the morning attempting to play Monopoly drunk, which obviously isn't a good idea as i was bankrupt within 15 minutes and not allwoed to play again. Danielle ended up wining! Everyone ended up crashing and going to bed, and we had a 6am rise to catch a train... Best of luck to us both!

Well obviously enough luck in the world couldnt help us as we opened our eyes at 9am! Alarm clearly didnt work or we slept right through it? We'll never know. But off we were to Vienna, which is actually Wiez.

So here i am now on a train writing this entry. I absolutely loved Cesky Krumlov and a place which wont be forgotten for its scenery, character, the fun times i had there and ofcourse the Aussies, New Zealanders and Portugese fella's, which all know me as "Adelaide" :o) The town is a really good place to put your feet up and catch up with yourself.
