A crisp 10am wake for the last day in Dundee. I went straight down to the "wee lil shop" as the Scotts say :-P and shouted 'em all lunch. Got myself a giant sausage roll and a cream bun. We called a taxi to come and collect us to drop us down to where we'll be meeting the others at the bus depo thats right next to the Dundee Discovery pirate ship. It was a sad goodbye to Sam and Figero (my new feline friend). I've gotten to know both of them heaps well over the last couple of weeks. We caught the taxi down to the penguin's at the Dundee docks and met the others and jumped on the Megabus with all our packs once again on our shoulders. THE MEGABUS!!! haha! As we headed south to Edinburgh we said our goodbye's to Dundee. Its been a really good stay in this small characteristic town. And if your ever reading this Sam - thankyou so much for your hospitality during our stay...

The bus ride down was cool and we went over some absolute huge bridges that would of taken years to build & passed some stunning greenery as usual in this part of the world. I had heaps of laughs on the way down listening to 9 minutes of cartman quotes on paul's ipod. haha! We finally arrived in Edinburgh a few hours later and the weather was very chilly, but clear sky's again. Just like Dundee had been the last few days. Once off the bus we trekked to the Royal Mile which our hostel was on. This city is alot bigger than i thought and so very very gothic. Especially the Royal mile. Depressing to look at, but absolutely magnificent at the same time. They say Prauge is gothic, but nothing compared to The Royal Mile. All the buildings are about 5 - 6 stories high with the same dark / grey colour with similar architecture all the way along the street. Kinda evil design's in a way :-) I really love it though...

We arrived in our 16 person dorm hostel and talking to this crazy kiwi dude that was kinda wacky. We all went for a walk and ended up at the Bank Hotel for dinner. Its a pretty cool pub and we all sat together upstaires with the fattest burger. haha, and get this! As matty's meal was getting brought to him, the waiter tripped and the meal landed on the waiters chest, he then leaned forward and let gravity peal it off his chest back onto the plate, looks at matty and goes "do you still want it?" haha! Was the funniest thing!! So now matty's spewin, as everyone's chewin back on these ripper of meals except for him which is getting his meal re-cooked! haha... "mmm, these chips and burger's so yummy matty... where's your meal?" :-P

Few beers later and more yarn's as paul's last night coz he's heading back to London tomorrow for work so he can come back to Oz in summer and come surfing with me :-) (oh how i miss surfing...) After knocking back a few we left and went to St Christophers hostel pub as they had 2 Fosters export for 3 Pound. I know... I know... I shouldnt touch bloody stereo type Fosters as no Aussie actually drinks it (yes everyone, Australian's do NOT drink fosters!!) If you want an Aussie beer, drink Coopers Pale Ale, VB, West End Draught, XXXX (four x), which are some of the generally 4 typical aussie beers througout states). The toilets in this hostel sells Marijuana flavoured condoms and blow up cows with a hole in their ass for ...you know what! hahaha! Funny as. It shut at 1am and we headed back to sleep.

Tomorrow morning we'll be saying goodbye to Paul & Cathy as they're leaving...
