Once in nice i found it pretty easy going striaght away. We got off the train, and it was a warm day with little clouds in the sky. We checked into our hostel and headed out striaght away to the beach. Now if you can imagine the typical scene of 'Miami' in america, that you'll get on television. Its exactly like that, just with a european touch... Has huge hotels along the bolouvade reaching the entire way along the coast with the topless ladies on the beach, the walkway with the rollerbladers and bikes constantly going up and back. OH - and i wont forget the endless line of palm trees lining the road. Its very upbeat.

That night we pretty much crashed in bed as switzerland really took alot out of us. However, the next day we were up and out ready to explore the city a bit. We first had a huge walk right down the bolouvade for kilometers and kilometers then half way back to have some food at this pizza place we saw half way down, yum! We then walked back to the centre of the towen before noticing everything was starting to close. We had a coffee, and everything around had its rollershutters on their shops down... - Ah, thats right... SIESTA TIME! So we took the perfect opertunity to head back to the hostel and have a bit of a siesta as we were still worn out... - will we ever catch up with sleep??

At night the weather was beautiful, and the shorts and t-shirts were on! We walked down the other direction on the beach front this time towards the hills. All the palm trees were lit up making the entire resort scene quite sexy! The only thing that would make it better is if this place had sand instead of little rocks for a beach. We went in a side street and found all these markets, which is always cool, as you find all the interesting stuff at the places, instead of the general touristy areas. I found some cool paintings to try and replace the Greek Island oil paintings that i managed to loose at the La Spezia train station in Italy. Befored i settled on getting something, i'll sit down for some dinner. "Pizzapapa" was the restaurant we settled on. These girls came and gave us the menu, it had pictures on it which i liked very much and ended up havin a nice pasta dish with duck! The weather was heaps nice during the day, but getting a little cold now. During the tea, this busker which was quite awesome actually was playing these tunes, singing and on the guitar and harmonica. Was really good background music for dinner. I wanted to give him a few euro after, but he disapeared before i could find him. Well i finally bought those paintings that i was eyeing off earlier... Back to the hostel now, as its getting quite late. Wish i could of gone to this raege concert that i walked passed earlier in the night though, but was blocked off.

Back at the hostel i met some girls, an aussie and a canadian. Had a chat for a little while, the canadian sounded like a really nice person, while the bloody aussie both sounded and looked crazy! haha - wierd thing is, both girls were named Carly, and both were 23... :o)

Well - adiós
