Well finally made it to one of the most well known island groups in the world. The Greek Islands :o) haha oh it feels good! Paros has been chill. The ferry over took quite a while though. But had lots to see on deck of the boat as it passed other small island clusters. Once in Paros it was very layed back with what looks like a small populated island. The typical white concrete buildings with blue window shutters and doors were absolutely everywhere which made such a beautiful sight. I know - its famous for these types of buildings, and you see it on so many travel channels on tv... But seriously... when you actually arrive on the islands and lay your eyes on them its something different all together. We wondered aorund the streets that go off in every direction imaginable looking at all the fascinating side stores. So much quirky and beautiful odd things to buy here. We made our way to 'Renas Rooms'. Which we were informed was a nice hostel. I've heard it all before about getting lost amoungst all the little cobble stonned streets surrounded by white concrete buildings in a maze, but yeah you have to do it! Amazing feeling. everything has so much character here! haha its great! After just waltzing around for a few hours we settled on dinner at this seaside cafe (well one of the dozens and dozens on the shore front) which i had... yep.... another SOUVLAKI!!! haha. mmmm just eating this tender meal right on the shore front of the harbour staring across the islands gulf towards the otherside of the island and then up at the heat of the clear night sky. Ahhh! :oP

Next day we decided to hire a mo-ped and gunned it around the entire island!!! Was only 10 euro for 24 hours! BARGAIN!! Though was pretty sketchy trying to reverse all the road rules so i can drive on the opposite side of the road to what i'm used to - especially on an unprotected mo-ped in the greek islands (not exactly the best place to pick it up as drivers are crazy here - and no hospital on the island, so if any accidents occur they'll have to air lift you outta there) haha! The bike got us to beaches and places we wouldnt normally be able to see. Went to 'Golden Beach' which was pretty cool with the white sand in a crescent shaped beach - ahh paradise! Water being so clear and perfect. After a while relaxing at the beach we decided to go again back to the middle of the island, and explore some of the smaller villages around there. So we went and found an interesting looking village, parked my mo-ped and investigated further on foot. This particular one, had far more interesting little things to look at. And again so easy to get lost at, all white square cement buildings with alleys everywhere. There's like just clusters of bulidings all over the island, some very fascinating to explore. Haha - oh and the back of the motorbike slipping out on a drain pipe was not the best, and left both our leg's kinda battered - but managed to keep the bike up right :oP

Paro's was pretty chill though, not many people on the island, and once out on the mo-ped being able to explore half a dozen beaches was perfect - i just wish i wasn't so sunburnt from Athens so i could of stripped down more haha. Nice island to go to put your feet up though. However its our third day now, and its time to head to Ios to party (2nd out of the 3 islands that ill be seeing). Will update whenever i get the chance next. So far so good aye!
