Day 7( 7-16-05)- This was a sailing day. Woke up around noon to catch lunch. Basically laid out on deck all day to catch some last minutes rays. By this time, I have a pretty killer tan. Everyone has gotten good sun without burning too bad. I am much darker than I have been in over 10 years! Everyone on the ship was on deck 7 it seemed. The day was gorgeous, perfect for sailing. There was a good mix of music being played for the passengers too. Anyone who has sailed understands what these sea days are like. We were on our own floating resort, all passengers getting to know each other and making small talk. We were all just trying to take it all in since this was our last day on the ship. Of course I saw Brandon on the deck. He was giving me these sweet but sad looks. At night, we again partied at the Top of the Crown with our new friends. This was the second best party night. Impending sadness set in as we realized the cruise was coming to an end quickly. But for the time being, we all were holding on to our last bit of togetherness, as a group and as a ship. For those that have sailed, it really builds camaraderie among passengers. Some of the passengers, including Brandon, decided to have a toga party in the club. It just descended into a goof-fest. We were desperately trying to hang onto every moment. I think we did a good job of it. We returned to our cabins satisfied we had had the time of our lives. And wouldn't you know it, on the ship channel in our cabins was playing "Time of your life" by Green Day while showing video and pictures of all the passengers, shows and contests from the cruise. Some of us cried, some didn't. Not going to say who( text me if you wanna know) :)
