Stopped at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland today! I can honestly say I'd never heard of it before...still it was pretty awesome. Brilliant exhibits throughout, everything from Queen outfits to original lyrics to a full scale mock up of the stage set for The Wall by Pink Floyd. Of course there was also fantastic music at every corner :) no camera's allowed inside so you'll just have to google it! I shall appropriate some of my companions photos however...

We accidentally bought a huge plastic bottle of dirty, cheap diluted vodka in a shop en route to the campsite and proceeded to finish it. Tragically my flip flops were destroyed in the evening of merriment! A truly devestating occurence from which I have yet to recover, they were cremated with a full service and I drank to their memory. Sleeping out under the stars was fantastic, good idea Yannic I believe...

Next onto Chicago which was bloody fantastic. A lovely city that I'd highly recommend to anybody! We mixed up our time wandering about the city exploring (unfortunately no suitable replacement for my flippie-floppies were located) and site seeing. It was a busy couple days...
-dinner on the first evening was hilarious, we went to an Italian place which served the biggest deepest pizzas I've ever seen, 11 of us couldn't finish 3 14" pizzas, I couldn't even polish off my second slice!
-the younger of us (Lenny, Kes, Yannic, Scott and myself = "The Crew") went out after the monumental pizza devouring and promptly got wasted, the result of which was some beautiful karaoke (a particularly impressive solo by Scott) and some *hot* dancing (check facebook if you don't believe me!)
-getting drinks in on the 95th floor in the John Hancock Building
-next on the list would have to be the fairground ride with Kes, can't believe I got told off...
-finally messing around with the shiny bean...thing (not quite sure what else to call it) in the day and later on was great fun

Although it was very sad to be leaving Chicago, we were now on the way to the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee! Mmmm free tour, free postcards and free-er beer 'samples'...

From here we went onto our next campsite by the Mississippi, beautiful spot. If it wasn't for the ravaging hordes of mosquitos anyway...the usual crew took refuge in the van after everybody else had gone to bed and watched The Goonies...I won't even comment on the film. Ended up sleeping in the van to avoid the torrential downpour though :)
