Where I stayed
Ainsworth State Park
This afternoon Toby phoned to see if we had been affected by the earthquake off the coast of Oregon. The centre was near where we had stopped on Monday night. Luckily we had left the Oregon coast today and headed inland.
It has rained most of the day, just stopping long enough for us to get set up at Ainsworth State Park campground, beside the Columbia River, on the Oregon/Washington border. Despite the weather we decided to have a drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway to see all the waterfalls. At least with all this rain they are quite spectactular!

Glad you missed the Earthquake! Hopefully the rain will let up as you cross inland and get over the mountains - the Northwest is notoriously rainy in the spring and not at it's prettiest, but your pics sure are are lovely.
cool waterfalls, what earthquakes we hadn't heard about them.
