Toby and Brent arrived Friday evening to visit for the weekend. Saturday morning we headed off to Key West, about three hours driving. We walked around Key West (miles!) and saw some of the sights, including walking to the Southernmost point of the Continental USA.
We eventually headed back, stopping at the Fish Company restaurant at Islamorada, where we had a superb meal and were entertained by steel drums and a fire display.
Today we visited the Everglades National Park, the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States, where we had the opportunity to get close to many of the birds and alligators in their natural habitat.
The boys left at teatime to get back to Lake Mary, a 4-5 hour drive, while we started getting organized to move tomorrow. It has been a great weekend.
