Today I learned how to use a sextant in my physics for mariner's class.  If I am ever lost at sea and have my sextant and a watch, I can figure out my latitude and longitude.  A lot of my buddies on board said they were definitely going to get on my lifeboat if anything went down while where were at sea!  I hope I never have to put my new knowledge to use in a life of death situation though!  I spent the majority of the afternoon studying for my Islam quiz tomorrow and then went to workout before going to watch the second half of the Islam movie we started yesterday.  I watched the sunset off the back of the ship and then afterwards went with Emily, Ashley, Steph, Agnes, and Heather to the snack bar for dinner since we had lamb or eggplant as our main two choices in the dining hall.  We have those wonderful selections about once every four days.  You know the food is bad that night when all the peanut butter and jelly is gone halfway through the dining hours!  We ended up just hanging out and talking for a good while on the deck after dinner.  I shared my janitor toilet emergency where I had to call Dad to figure out what to do to unclog the toilet when I worked as a maid a few summers ago.  Almost all of them were crying out of laughter by the end of my story.  We laughed a lot tonight but I think it's mainly because we all are going a little crazy from being in the open ocean with no land in sight for almost a week. Only two more days till solid ground!
