A three hour flight delay wasn't enough for British Airways. They then had us board the plan only to wait an additional 3 hours on a stationary plane.

Was all good for me though as my connection to Accra was well and truly missed so they put me up in London overnight and I was able to have a great dinner with Vanessa one more time.

The lady at the BA counter said "normally we put people up at the Ibis, but I want to put you somewhere nicer. I'll put you in the Crowne Plaza - that's our best hotel!"
