Zaurutz
After we left Barcelona we took a super long train ride (6hrs) to San Sebastian which is on the north coast of Spain. From there we hopped a bus to a town called zarautz which is where we had booked our place to stay for the next two nights. It was only about thirty min from San sebastion. Zarautz is about an hour and a half from Pamplona where they do the running of the bulls. Originally when I started looking for places to stay in pamplona about 6 months ago, everything was so overpriced and expensive. I found this place in zarautz which was a campground. Basically for a certain amount of money you get your own tent in a tent city, sleeping pad, and sleeping bag. For 5 euros you get unlimited sangria and beer. Every day they wake you up and bus everyone to pamplona to run then being them back. Kind of a cool deal. The fact they are right on the beach and offer surf lessons was an added bonus. Oh yeah breakfast was included as well. :). Yummy!
Overall it was a cool place to stay except sleeping in a tent was not relaxing and I definitely lost sleep these last two nights ESP w still fighting this infection. Oh well I was able to nap a lot on the way into Pamplona........
Oh yeah, pamplona. What did we do in Pamplona?????
