We are staying at the Four Seasons Campground here in Pilesgrove, NJ and I want it known that if anyone reading this is EVER in this area for camping, GO HERE. Nicest folks ever, great accommodations and food available, full store (everything an RV full-timer could ever want can be purchased here), quiet camping, and showers/laundry available too. And they were having issues with their wi-fi this weekend (which was something I'd made sure they had available when I called last week to reserve a space), so when we asked about it and explained that this was to be a working weekend for us, they immediately hooked us up with their secured office wi-fi so we could get our online stuff done. Above and beyond....love this place. Lots of folks live here year round and I can see why.

John was going to do a bit of clowning today at their Memorial Day activities, but he's got a pretty raging headache, so we're bowing out of that, I'm afraid. Need to have him feeling okay for the upcoming week! The folks here have been great about letting us advertise the circus with flyers anyway, so if any of the seasonal campers are interested, they know a circus is coming to town in a couple of weeks!

John's clown partner, Beth, has confirmed her trip to meet up with us in NJ next week!! So excited to have her out here for a few days and I know John's thrilled to have a partner to play off of in front of the kids. :) Our friend Glen is picking her up in Newark and the four of us will have a chance to hang out that evening, so expect lots of photos that night!

Next weekend, we'll be visiting John's friend Mark (who is putting the final touches on a yak hair wig for John as I type this). Mark clowns with Cole Bros. Circus, so we're pretty stoked that we'll have a chance to see another circus we haven't seen before. We haven't hung out with Mark in real life (only internet life) so we're thrilled this is working out as perfectly as it is.

Annnddd...our friend Pat (otherwise known as the man behind Captain Kangaroo) lives near one of our stops and the sponsor for that day is an old high school friend of his. So Pat's going to join John and Beth for the day...and we couldn't be happier to have the chance to not only hang out with him, but also to clown with him. Thanks Pat!

One of the campground owners just asked me if I thought the circus would be interested in setting up on the campground itself next year...haha. So cool! I hope they can make something work...I passed along a flyer and some names to contact, so we'll see. :)
