Chipping Campden is impossibly quaint, when we were wandering the streets, we felt like we weren't in a real place, because it was more like a fairy tale.
We stayed in a 400-year old stone inn, in a really comfortable room ... and if you look carefully underneath the television, you can see our washing line (note to Sam: don't wait so long to wash Dave's socks, they really mount up!)
We spent several hours just walking and taking photos of everything, the cottage gardens were so lovely, and the architecture was very appealing. There was a lot of stonework and thatching going on in the town, and lots of cottages were recently sold and being renovated, so it looked like the town was really popular for a "tree change" for the British.
