Into Brazil..........

Saturday 6th October - Sunday 7th October

Crossed the border to Brazil to spend a night in Foz Do Iguazu to visit the Brazillian side of the park.   Had heard this side was not so spectacular, but we thought it was great! Less busy and a beautiful panaramic view of all the falls. 

Also spent a couple of hours in a fantastic bird park just outside the national park.  Here you could walk through huge aviaries and see hundreds of species of south american birds, many of which had been rescued.    The toucans and macaws were great!



That night we caught a bus to Bonito in Brazil, this was to be long one!  14 hours to city of Campo Grande where we hoped to find a bus to take us the further 5 hours to Bonito!

Currently struggling with portuguese language....back to square one...and think it might get harder yet!!
