After leaving the crazy warm weather of St Thomas I flew out to Altanta City, Georgia. Here I was hosted by Blaine, an old friend from New Zealand.

I spent a day hanging around the city, going to the CNN building, visiting the world of coca-cola, looking up Danyon Loaders name in the olympic park (he won 2 gold medals at the olympics in Atlanta) and looking around the underground mall.

On the Saturday Blaine took me out to have my first ever tandem sky dive!!! WOW what an experience. Although this was something I always wanted to do, I didn't actually think I would ever get around to doing it....... Im so grateful I was pushed into it! As the tiny little plane climbs higher and higher in the sky I started to get a little nervous, I could no longer see the ground and the air temperature was starting to drop. As the door of the plane was opened and I was clipped to my dive-master, I really had to wonder what on earth I was doing..... however being attached to someone else made it easy to jump in the fact that you had NO choice but to be pushed out the door! There was 50-60 seconds of free fall before the chute opens and we glided safely to the ground. YEEEHAAA, brilliant.

From Atlanta I flew out to Washington DC.
