Dubrovnik is one of my top cities overall. Gorgeous, cheap, manageable, beaches, good weather, explorable islands -- perfect vacation spot. The old city was my favorite "old city" in Europe. It felt like I was in a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean. And there is a lot of explorable/remote coastline. I really don't know what else to say, other than I really enjoyed my time in this city.
