I met back up with Kelsie (Canadian) in Athens. Her friend Jake had come into Greece for 2 weeks to travel with her. So we all took the 9 hour boat ride from Athens to Santorini together and split hotel rooms whilst we were there.

Santorini was an excellent place to end my trip. Warm, not too expensive, gorgeous, and very relaxing. This portion of the trip definitely felt like a vacation. I took more pictures in Santorini than I did any other place in my travels (I think). Though the island is almost entirely run by tourism, it did not take away from its amazing landscape. Plus, the hike from Fira to Oia (about 4 hours) took me away from the tourists and I was primarily alone for about 95% of it. Again, an excellent end to the 3 month expedition. This island is one place I would definitely come back to in the summer time. And a place I would recommend people visit for vacation purposes.
