So an 8 hour train-ride later, and I am in Sicily. It was interesting being on the train as it was loaded onto a special ferry that transported it across the channel. I lost my sense of time and direction since one cannot see out of the hull.

So Sicily was, in my opinion, very underwhelming. I was really excited to go, only to find it quite dirty and containing the meanest locals in Italy. The landscape outside of the cities was gorgeous, but other than that, I was not a big fan at all. The best part of Catania (my first stop) was Mt. Etna and the local Fish Market. Pics and vid below will show those.
