So on my last night, I went out with the two Chilean "princesses" that were staying in my room. (Sorry, no pics below) The first place closed at 2 AM, so we moved to another bar. It closed at 4 AM, so we moved to a club. It didn't close until 6 AM. So we didn't get home until about 6:30 AM. Had a great time. I set my alarm for 7:30 AM. The alarm does not go off. I wake up at 8:20 AM. My train leaves at 8:45 AM. I am awake, my train has not left, but there is no way on earth I can get there in time to catch it. This is the most helpless feeling I have ever had.
As I stumble down for breakfast and to checkout, the front desk lady (wife of the owner I believe, older, in her 50s or 60s) asks why I look so distraught. I told her I missed my train. I am perplexed as to why she gets a grin on her face. She then gets really happy and proceeds to tell me that she WISHES she was young again when she could go party all night and miss trains. How she enjoyed those times. I was inevitably cheered up.
