I was originally going to go skiing in Interlaken, Switzerland. But the tour guide in Munich recommended Garmisch. He said it was closer, cheaper, and you get more bang for your buck. Plus they hosted the Winter Olympics not too long ago.

As you can see in the pics below, I was happy.
