It was off to Berlin next. Train ride of 6 hours 15 mins . . . but it flew by. I much prefer train to plane at this point.
Berlin is big. Nightlife is amazing. A New Zealander named Yeshe took some of us fellow travelers to a bar called Tokolis. It was an abandoned building that had bombed at one point I believe (hlaf of it was missing). Inhabited by artists trying to make a few bucks. Smells of piss. Every square inch is tagged. This was the best experience of my trip so far. Check out the pics and vids.
Otherwise, Berlin had pretty architecture, but was remarkably dirty. Trash all over the streets and the parks.
