Learned my lesson on the last post -- TOO MANY PICTURES I ASSUME, so I am going to cut down this time. Enjoy.
Quick Story -
So I went to far east London. Didn't know that the tube (subway) closed at 12:30 AM. Decided then to take a bus. Got off at the wrong stop (way too early) because the bus driver would not announce the stops, so I had no idea where I was. Didn't know how far away from my hostel I was, so I started walking. FYI - London is creepy at night when its 1 AM, no one is around, and not even a taxi/police are in the area. Walked for an hour. Looked up, and noticed that Big Ben was FAR IN THE DISTANCE! . . . . shit . . . . started jogging along the river to make up time. Next a highway (cars speeding by around 60 mph). Car stops asks me if I need a ride. Turned out to be a cab. All was good except it cost me 25 lbs to get home. He said it would have taken 2.5 more hours of walking to get back to my hostel. Way to go Chris.
