Get out of town and that's when India's natural beauty is overwhelming. We rode to Ooty, elevation around 8500ft., on three bikes. Nikos and Natalie from Greece were on a baja 100, Ryan and I on pulsar 180s. It was about 200kms away but took us about 5 hrs after the police stopped us, I think they needed some holiday spending money, flat tires, road deviations and many great distractions. At times the switchbacks were so sharp and steep I was sure I had gotton off the road. Then a bus would come flying out of what seemed like the top of a tree. Good times.
