Drove an hour to stop at Harrington we stopped in at small cafe where the Irish/Australian owner was lovely, we had coffees/scones/bacon sandwiches and then it started to rain, its our first day of rain so far! We all ran back to the van and drove the three hours to Cessnock, we found what seems to be the only campsite in the town which is not great, myself, Emma and James were on a bit of a downer and fed up with the whole camping experience so we decided to pack everything up and find a winery. The first we stopped at was closing but pointed us in the direction of Hungerford Hills Winery five minutes down the road. We walked in and were greeted by Fitzroy and Rebecca who were fantastic, they taught us how to taste the wine and after numerous bottles of wine (we ended up buying a few bottles each) we were in a much better mood, Rebecca recommended some places to eat and we chose The ex services Club where we got all you can eat food and ice cream, Chris drove us all back to the campsite and we watched movies in bed before falling asleep. We are off to Bondi today x
