We got up early on friday morning to head out and do some shopping. Where do Texans shop? Why Wal-Mart of course. The Wal-Mart on Westheimer (really everything is located on westheimer)has every type of mullet, from the femullet to the mulletino to the chmullet(child with mullet). we stocked up on groceries and some necessities and headed over to the register. At the register we found that you could place your order for Mcdonald's to be picked up on the way out. The sign actually read "Don't worry about what's for dinner." It's easy to see why Houston is the 5th fattest city in the country.

We unloaded the groceries and goods, loaded up the rolling cooler from the Monette's with beer and headed over to our pool. Luckily, neither on eof us got a sunburn on our first day. The thunder clouds came rolling in and we decided to pack it up.

We met up with Kane and Angela at a Mexican restaurant whose name we could not pronounce let alone spell here. After a few margaritas with dinner, we all headed over to Woodrow's, a bar in Rice Village. Rice Village is kind of like Bowen's Wharf in Newport, only instead of the ocean you are surrounded by skyscrapers. After a few beers we packed it in and called it a night.
