After our trip to Alexandria, we spent almost a week longer in Cairo. It was great. We ate plenty of koshary, a dish made with pasta, lentils, a tomato sauce, and onions (as well as our own liberal applications of hot sauce to get it to Sichuan standards). The ice cream was delicious, the turkish coffee delightful.
