Today we got to go to Lego Land, we have been waiting to go here for such a long time and today was the day.

We packed our bags with our cameras, sunscreen, hat, water and off we went. I even tossed in another shirt as I was wearing a singlet shirt just in case I got sunburnt etc. I drove us to Leg Land and I think I'm a natural if driving on the wrong side of the road now.

Once we got our tickets and were allowed in, you good see all these different things made out of Lego. From a big pumpkin for Halloween, and elephant squirting water, big Lego bricks and so much more. Little mini city's out Lego from New York, San Fran, Vegas etc

There were a lot of kids for little kids to so, so Charlie had a ball. And a couple for us big kids as well. We all went on a ride together, it's like the log ride at Dreamworld but imagine being in a boat that can sit four people across and has 5 rows. Once in a lap bar comes down and hold you in (we were advised to take our socks and sneakers off as we would get wet). You go up a incline go round the corner and come flying down the other side into a big pool of water and yup you guess it, we got socked through to the skin. No I'm not kidding, every part of us was wet from head to toe. Katie and I thought it was great but Charlie wasn't too happy with us at all (poor kid). We then stood up the top to watch the next boat come down. I decided to tape it to show everyone and I didn't realise that I was going to get really wet once again. In the video you can hear me scream and then laugh. Oh that was so much fun. Katie and I wanted to go on it again side we were already wet, but Charlie was like no so we walked away.

So the only person who had dry clothing was yup you guess it Charlie, at least I had a dry shirt but still was wet. After having a look in a shop to see if we could buy a pair of shorts we found nothing so we jumped into one of those family dyers that you see at theme parks to they and kinda dry off a little more then what we were. It did help that it was a nice sunny day to also help us to drive fully.

While Charlie was asleep I went on a roller coaster, oh it was fun. Katie took some photos of me on it. There were no loops but had a big dip at the start then did lots of turns back and forth.

Another ride that Katie and I went on (taking turns looking after Charlie), was like a jet ski that went around in a circle and you could steer it in and out, while people watching could press a buttons to make water explode upwards and you get wet. I really enjoyed this one too, was fun coming in close to the platform and then spin the wheel out and you felt like it went really fast. I got a little wet but nothing like the other ride.

So had a good day, wasn't to hot at all, but think I might of gotten a little colour but its ok I out on sun cream twice today.

Tomorrows plan is to sight see San Diego.
