so we arrived in Abene and were warmly welcomed by the family of a collegue at university. the house was 2 minutes away from the place where the festival took place and one km from the beach. We went to the concerts every night til complete exhaustion. we checked out Abene a bit and visited the huge fromagier (a tree) which is concidered holy there. The people go and pray there. Also i climbed a huge mango tree in the garden with a brother of the family. He was like a monkey and we had ataya (traditional senegalese spicy tee) in the tree.
