Kicked off the week's activities with a night out to Rabarber on Wednesday to see some live jazz!! =D  Was very cool and I was very proud to know half of the songs!  The small jazz band seemed to have their muso friends around cos the encore consisted of a series of awesome scat solos passed around the their table haha, was very cool.  Ooooh!  And we had sushi too!! Mmmm...my first sushi in like 1 year!

Went to visit to the Skogskyrkogården, which as weird as it seems is a cemetery...a UNESCO listed cemetery! =)  And I can see why, the tall pine trees just surrounds you and the entire place in this lovely feeling, it's a very nice place to walk and relax.  And since it was also close to All Saints Day here in Sweden (6/11), there were a few candles placed on a few of the graves, apparently on the actual day, the entire forest gets illuminated in candles at night!  Headed back to DKV afterwards for some fika...I'm very fond of this Swedish tradition of "fika", pretty much a coffee break but it sounds so much cooler if you say let's go for fika =P

Left for Örebro (another Swedish town) on Friday for a lovely weekend with Craig and May at Craig's apartment; free accommodation, awesome food, local tour guides and heaps of dvd's!!  What else can you ask for =P  Got to tour around Örebro and see their castle, the town centre (which sorta looks like Uppsala and Mora =P), Swampen (a massive water tower with a view) and Wadköping (their version of Sovereign Hill, our's is better).  Örebro's a very pretty down, with heaps of bridges and parks a lovely black river, the Svartån (black stream in Swedish) though it's not as bad as it sounds =P unlike a black stream in China, a black stream in Sweden does not reek of garbage XD  Ooooh!  Cos it's so cold here in Sweden now, some of the smaller ponds are already starting to freeze over!  Ahh I can't wait!  We had a fun play in Örebro trying to see if we could walk on it yet (no), breaking off pieces of ice (not a good idea without water proof gloves) and smashing the ice in true caveman style =D.  Ahh I can't wait till we can skate on it!  Time to get bruises!!! XD

Need to thank Craig and May for cooking all our lovely meals too!!  Mmmm, was delicious having some nice homecooking for once =P  Especially since I'm so lazy these days when it comes to cooking!  I also finally managed to see Life of Brian for the first time!  So a very enjoyable weekend all in all =D

PS: Got my room bug sprayed on Thursday....hopefully those pesty beg bugs from Venice are all gone by now =S
PPS: It's -6C and sunset's at 3:30pm and it's not even winter yet!! *gulp*
