So it's been another crazy hectic week here for me, just settling into Stockholm, slowing discovering the city....trying to find a bike!!! haha, all that jazz

Arrived on the 2nd, confused, tired and smelly =P.  Lee and I hiked 40 mins to where we were staying, NOT a good idea, it was disgusting and horrible but it was so good to finally have a place to stay!  My room was not the best at first, especially with no pillow, no blanket, no light!  But that soon changed after a visit to Ikea =P, now it's actually quite cool...still mess and paper everywhere but that's what having your own place is about right!?  Bed, bookshelf, desk, chairs, I even have my own bathroom and toilet!  Such a big plus.  Kitchen is shared but that's good, I get to meet some of my corridor mates who seem very cool.  An Italian guy called Darius and a Mexican girl called Ester who's helping me with my Swedish! =D

Oh yeah, so arrived on the 2nd and started my swedish classes the day after.  Swedish is hard!  The pronounciation and the way they go up and down haha, so very different to anything I've ever known.  Fortunately the verbs are easy, they only have one form for each tense!  So instead of I am, you are, he is etc...it's just jag är, du är, han är easy! (I is, you is, he is)  Well, until you have to pronounce them =P.

So been making new friends too, so many new people and my capacity for remembering names is so very limited XD.  But the friends that I have made are very cool and with such cool accents =P.  German, French, Spanish...these people are EVERYWHERE, seriously...Went out Friday and Saturday with some of them, haha, dancing, drinking...a little =P was good fun.  Unfortunately, in my massive rush to do Swedish homework, buy groceries, buy furniture, making friends, I haven't really seen any tourist things in Stockholm yet =(.  Not to worry, I went on a city rally on Saturday which was a lot of fun and got so find out some of the places =D.  It was sorta like the amazing race where you had to ask the locals about certain stockholm-ian facts...so much fun =).  However, because I wanted to win haha, I didn't have much time to take photos.  Will promise to put up good photos of Stockholm soon!  In the mean time, enjoy these ones =)
