Hola, from Easter Island once again.  Last night we had dinner at our hotel and went to bed as quick as we could, because we knew we were going to have a long day today.  I still cant believe that Im in Easter Island on the Internet.  The charge is 800 pesos for a half an hour, which is equivalent to about $1.50.  In our hotel, we found there are only 2 working t.v channels, both of which are in Spanish.  Today we had breakfast and embarked on our full day tour.  We started off visiting the Navel of the World.  We sat on the rocks and put our foreheads on the big rock, which is supposed to transfer energy.  We also visited some of the moai statues, and saw many free running horses.  A weird fact is that people here buy horses for status, but once the mark their horses, they let them run free, and they might never see them again.  The statues are amazing, and we learned the history behind them.  Im typing now on our lunch break.  We have the rest of the tour starting at 3 tonight.  Tomorrow night we are going to see a show, of the local entertainment.  I think we also might go horseback riding.  Ill attach more pictures when we go back to the Sheraton in Santiago.  Anyways I better be going.  Talk to you all later.  Chloe
