so i booked my tour to el salvador... and trekked to antigua overnight and arrived thurs morning.. hung out all day anf got more souvenirs (got a tzutes which is pretty much a huge cloth that mothers usually carry babies in.. but you can put loads of other stuff in it.... like all y'alls souvenirs!) and had dinner again at the indian place. then just relaxed and watched million dollar baby on tv while learning spanish through the subtitles...
this morning.. i get up bright and early cause simon left for costa rica and i couldn't get back to sleep so i had BREAKFAST AT MCDONALDS. hehehe tastes a little funny.. it hink it's the bread.. but the hash brown was the same ol goodness....
caught my shuttle and found out that the tour to el salvador had be cancelled as they couldn't find the other passengers cause whoever boooked the reservation put in a broad spanish school name that couldn't be found. so that kind of sucks...
but it's great that everythign is so close by that i booked a ticket to panajachel (back to lake atitlan) so i can spend some time in san marcos (this hippy spiritual town) for the weekend and then head out to rio on monday morning...
i booked a hotel that's apparently solar powered
http://www.posadaschumann.com/aboutus.php
and has temascal mayan saunas that are about 2$USD. so i'll just hang out and relax some more.. and probabyl go find a 13$ massage and sunbathe..
i'm a little disappointed that i can't eat a barracuda.. but i'm sure i'll get another chance to eat something crazy sometime soon.
ps. i bought a gap hoodie that's super soft for under 10 bucks. ha ha! and some crazy jeans because i gave away half my clothing in flores.
