Hello Hello Everybody,

I arrived in Korcula Thursday after 3 wonderful nights in Hvar town. By contrast Korcula is quite laid back. The whole town can be seen in a matter of hours vs. days. It is probably smaller that Freedom Park in Charlotte. Of course its quite picturesque. Korcula is a peninsula. There are three huge turrets that ring the peninsula. The town was totally built out by 1800. Funny thing happened here, no hot water in the room, Brrrrrr!

Friday night while walking around the town, it seemed every bar and cafe had at least one TV in the outdoor cafe with the world cup playing. So, when in Rome do as the Romans do. In this case join the Croatians, drink some beer and watch soccer. We cheered for Ecuador vs. Poland and thez won 2-0!
